4H Happenings-What we Did this Month

Treasure Seekers’ April meeting (4/6/09) was a very active meeting. Our business meeting was fairly short since we mainly only discussed old business (end of the year program, book swap etc…) and heard announcements from the moms. But since the business meeting was so short, we were able to dive right into our group projects! In finance, Mrs. Patti Crawford went through the 4H “Money Moves” book with her group; they also discussed the cost of credit and home mortgages. In drama, Mrs. Debbie Lazic led the group in a final rehearsal of the “Women’s Rights” play. The practice went well and the group plans on performing the play at the next meeting for the rest of the club. In Cloverbuds, Mrs. Peggy Summy, along with the help of other moms, led the group in building their own mini boxes. The Cloverbuds were all very proud of themselves, and they made it through the day without smashing any fingers! Treasure Seekers’ final meeting for the 2009 school year will be May 4, 2009
